Church of St Mark, Redhouse Lane, Woodley - Stockport
Large and prominent Gothic Revival inspired church. Historic movement to the tower top has caused some opening up of the joints associated with the parapet walls and pinnacles. Woody growth has become now established. Some parapet coping stones have lost their cramps and been dislodged and a number of the finials have been lost due to iron dowel damage. A Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help with maintenance work to roof and stonework.
