Church of St John the Baptist, King's Norton - Harborough

Church in the Gothic Revival style. Built 1757-75 by John Wing the Younger of Leicester for William Fortrey, the Squire of King’s Norton. Nave and chancel under one roof. The roof covering is in poor condition and is nearing the end of its life. Renewal is required. Rainwater goods are generally in fair condition but where there have been historic blockages to downpipes this has accelerated cramp damage in the stonework. Some repointing of stonework and some minor stonework repairs are required. The parapet pinnacles are suffering from cramp damage and are also in need of repair.
