Church of St Peter and St Paul, The Street, Ewhurst - Waverley

C12 church with nave, C13 transepts, C15 porch. Chancel largely rebuilt 1838 after the central tower collapse. Weald sandstone rubble and dressed sandstone blocks on buttresses. Horsham slab roofs with short, wood-shingled broach spire to tower. Cruciform plan incorporating a-central tower. Water ingress through the Horsham stone slate roof of the Chancel has led to the ceiling plaster falling. All of the Horsham stone slate roofs are now in urgent need of repair.
