Church of St Mary the Virgin, Drew Street, Brixham - Torbay (UA)
Parish church. C15, re-roofed 1867, restored by Tait and Harvey in 1905. Chancel, nave, north and south aisles, north and south transepts, north and south chancel chapels, west tower, south porch. Solid roughcast walls with Beer and red sandstone dresssings, slate roofs. Water penetration through exposed tower buttresses causing damage to exposed stonework and embedded timber beam ends. Further damp to north transept. Failing rainwater goods and lack of adequate below ground drainage. 2018 programme of repair to parapet gutters and rendering of stair turrets; further work required.
