Church of St Michael, Ravenstone with Snibstone - North West Leicestershire

Parish church of early C14, restored C19. Stonework is in very poor condition, particularly to the octagonal broached spire and tower. The 2018 Quinquennial Inspection identified several movement cracks requiring urgent investigation. Further urgent repairs are needed to the tower, the internal and external faces of the spire and masonry elsewhere. A defective rainwater disposal system is causing significant damp issues. Major repairs have since been undertaken with support from Historic England's Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund.
