The Almonry, Merstow Green, Evesham - Wychavon
C15 and earlier remains of the Evesham Abbey buildings now converted as a museum, Rubble stone and timber-frame with Cotswold stone roofs. It is in bad condition due to the clear signs of structural instability of the timber frame. Much of the stone slate roofing is nearing the end of its life and the timber frame has developed weaknesses and rot, particularly at sole plate level. The museum is currently looking to apply for public funding for repairs to the building and rejuvenation of the exhibits it holds.following project development work with Cultural Recovery Fund grant aid.
