Helland Bridge, St. Mabyn / Helland - Cornwall (UA)

This well-preserved medieval bridge carries a C-class road over the River Camel, between the A30 and B3266 roads. Because it provides a handy short-cut the road (and the bridge) is used by a very high volume of traffic from locals to commercial and tourist traffic. The bridge is subject to repeated damage and repair events and is still therefore classed as vulnerable until further mitigation is undertaken to reduce the risks of repeated damage. Other issues include vegetation growth and a lateral crack in the tarmac at the centre of the bridge.
