Post-medieval cottages, Samson, Tresco - Isles of Scilly (UA)
Fossilised C18/C19 landscape. The remains of the buildings are at risk from natural weathering, vegetation and erosion caused by visitors. A management plan has been devised and initial phase of consolidation grant-aided by Historic England is now complete. The results of the consolidation trials are being studied to ultimately inform a wider programme of repair.
