St Paul's Church, St Paul's Road N1 - Islington

St Paul's Church was built in 1826-28 to the design of Sir Charles Barry in an early Gothic Revival style. It was declared redundant in 1980 when the parish united with St Jude in Mildmay Park. The building was leased to St Paul's Steiner Project in1995 for use as a school. Repairs have been undertaken, most recently to the aisle roofs, and the tower and nave ceiling are now the priority. Some safety works have been carried out and an up-dated Conservation Management Plan commissioned. Funding is being sought for development and repair.
