Description

A collection comprising copies of field notebooks, 204 negatives and 849 photographs of excavation work carried out in Suffolk between 1930 and 1970. It also includes pictures and diaries of the 1939 Sutton Hoo excavation, and 164 reproduced OS Archaeology Division Correspondent maps of Suffolk. The original material is held by the Suffolk Archaeological Unit and Ipswich Museum.
