Any concerns about these images?
The Historic England Archive aims to make as many of its collections available online for you to explore. The images in our archive have been collected over a long period of time. Consequently, we ask that you contact us to check whether you may use any image other than for personal, non-commercial use. Please do this by using the Request a Copy button next to the image.
If you are the owner of the copyright in any of the material that has been reproduced on this website and you believe that the material infringes your intellectual property or any other rights, please contact us by sending an email to [email protected], with the subject line "Archive Collections: Takedown Request". Within your email please quote the reference number for any image you’d like us to investigate and the reason for your concern.
The material will be withdrawn from our website upon receipt of your written objection and our initial verification of your complaint, while the matter is investigated.
