Coverage : Houses and factory buildings designed by two generations of the Bunney family. MFWB designed over 100 houses for Hampstead Garden Suburb. Other material includes mid century designs for MJHB and CB's house at 13 Downshire Hill, Hampstead, LO, "Ryders Grove", Puckeridge, HT and Harmer Factory for Edward Boardman and Son, Norwich NF. File for Downshire Hill includes complete details of construction, fixtures and fittings together with correspondence with subcontractors and suppliers and examples of decorative finishes. Also some measured drawings of 13 Downshire Hill, "Ryders Grove", house in Pilgrims Lane, Hampstead, LO, and a house at Ravenstonedale, CU.
Collection is dated late C19th to 1960's.

Michael Frank Wharlton Bunney [MFWB]; 1873 - 1927 Edith Adelaide Bunney (nee Hewetson) [EAB]; 1868 - 1948 [wife of MFWB] Michael John Hewetson Bunney [MJHB]; 1907 - 1997 [son of MFWB and EAB]Charlotte Bunney (nee Gray) [CB]; 1910 - 1995 [wife of MJHB]; also the work of MFWB's architectural colleagues Horace Field, 1861-1948, and Clifford Copeman Makins, 1876-1973.
Donated to the NMR by son and daughter of MJHB and CB.
