A collection of approximately 650 photographic prints documenting the work of Reading based architect Conrad Birdwood Willcocks (1887 - 1972). The collection includes photographs of private houses, shops, community buildings, public houses and other buildings designed by Willcocks, the majority of which were in Berkshire, and is organised into files by client. While most of the photographs seem to have been taken by Willcocks, the collection also includes earlier prints by other photographers, presumably acquired by Willcocks to assist in his work.
Willcocks was influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, and as well as designing buildings, he was also interested in designing the furniture within them. His documentary archive, including his drawings and papers for most of the projects he worked on, is held at the Berkshire Record Office.
