Many of the prints are mounted and were shown by Clifford Morris at various photographic exhibitions. The collection broadly divides into the following themed series: 'The Hand of Time', mainly abandoned industrial buildings in the Midlands; 'Their Finest Hour', military installations and sites; 'Abbots Bromley' and the annual horn dance day; 'Port Mulgrave', views around the North Yorkshire village; 'Henley Regatta', mostly of people at the event; 'Street scenes' in the North of England, Wales and the Midlands; 'National Camps Corporation', showing remains of evacuee school camp buildings in Yorkshire and the Midlands; and 'Gasholders', in the North of England and the Midlands. In addition to the photography, there are research papers and publications relating to the National Camp Corporation stored with the relevant prints.
