Description

An album containing seventeen black and white prints by James O Davies, showing sea coalers at Black Beach, Lynemouth, with accompanying text by Robin Thornes. The images were taken in 1993 as an additional part of an RCHME project to record collieries. Negatives of the photographs in the album have been catalogued separately as part of the Collieries project, and can be found on the Archive catalogue under job number 93/01741.
