Description

The collection consists of two separate components:

KOO01/01 Concrete Seacraft - a series of black and white photographs showing the construction of concrete vessels at two sites in the north west of England. Taken between 1918-1919 by Arthur Winter and J Birtles.

KOO01/02 Country Houses - a set of mounted black and white photographs showing exterior views of country houses in Bedfordshire, Devon and Hereford, Worcester, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey, and Derbyshire and some unidentified locations. Taken between 1860 and 1902. Photographer(s) unknown.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by Historic England between 1991 and 1993. An additional accrual was acquired in 2013.
