The collection contains twenty-two mounted photographic prints documenting the construction of a factory building as part of the Hargreaves Brothers and Company Gipsy Black Lead Works, in Gipsyville, Hull. The photographs, taken between September 1910 and May 1911, show the site, construction progress, and the completed steel framed/brick factory building. The images were taken by the photographers Parrish and Berry.
Received Via : Gipsyville Black Lead Works Provenance : Parrish And Berry were photographers based in Hull. Entry in Kellys Directory 1905. Photographs embossed with Parrish and Berry name.
