Description

Series one of the collection contains 91 black and white photographs and 23 black and white negatives taken by Frederick J. Palmer between about 1920 and 1967.

They depict historic buildings and street scenes in England (most commonly in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Kent). Twenty of the photographs were mounted for exhibition display. Other photographs show National Buildings Record Director Cecil Farthing and photographer Herbert Felton. Palmer himself is shown in three of the photographs.

A handlist is available for series one.

Series two consists of negatives within the NMR negative run. These have been catalogued on demand only.
