Vertical and oblique aerial photography including large and small scale National Surveys carried out in the late 1940s to provide post-war mapping and aid planning. Later surveys of town and country were carried out at the behest of various Ministries.

Flown 1945-1989 Black and white: 5 x 5, 8 x 7, 9 x 9 Coverage of England at scales of between 1:2500 and 1:60000.

Archival History

Images flown more than fifty years ago at start of year are credited as Historic England (RAF photography).
