A collection of 905 photographic prints, primarily showing the exterior and interior of parish churches across the country, with a focus on Somerset and Wiltshire. Other counties covered include Devon, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Suffolk, West and East Sussex, Gloucestershire, Kent, Norfolk, Leicestershire, Herefordshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight, Derbyshire, Cornwall, Bristol, Avon, and Lincolnshire. There are also two prints of buildings in Ireland.
The photographs were taken by the Reverend Frederick Reginald Pinfold Sumner, and date from 1920 - 1935.
