Description
The sign at the top of the tower reads "YE OLDE MILL, GRINDING DONE BY MACHINERY AT SHORT NOTICE". The sails had already been removed by the time this photograph was taken in 1946, suggesting that the mill was powered by an engine at this time. The mill has now been demolished.
