Description

Following the merger of J S Fry & Sons with the Cadbury Brothers in 1919, operations moved from Union Street, Bristol, to a site named Somerdale Garden City. The factory was built with social facilities included sports and recreation grounds, and had its own power supply and railway station. The factory was completed in 1935.
