Description

The painting is number 26 in the catalogue 'A Story of the Year Round an Old Country House, in Woodland, Field and Garden', 1891. This is a series of paintings made in 1891 by the artists H G Moon and W E Norton, recording the landscapes around Gravetye Manor. The paintings were exhibited in November in the gallery of Stephen T Gooden, Pall Mall, London.
