The Berkeley Arms Hotel was built in 1932 to the designs of E P B Musman. It was constructed in a 'chateau-type' style, matching the buildings of Berkeley Parade on the opposite side of Bath Road. This clipping is a half-tone mechanical print, mounted in the 'Licensed Premises I' portfolio of clippings from the journal 'Architecture Illustrated'; a series of portfolios showing examples of modern architecture produced in the early to mid-twentieth century.
