Description

Chez Laurie was built in 1935. It operated as a nightclub for many years, but was demolished in the late 20th century. Beneath the image and plans is a description of finish and colour of the external render. This clipping is a half-tone mechanical print, mounted in the 'Licensed Premises II' portfolio of clippings from the journal 'Architecture Illustrated'; a series of portfolios showing examples of modern architecture produced in the early to mid-twentieth century.
