Description

Abbey Lawn Cottages were built as a speculative development for the Abbey in the 15th or early 16th century. The terrace originally ran from no. 34 to no. 51 Church Street. The terrace was restored from 1967; works appear to be largely complete in this photograph. The cottages are an important surviving example of a medieval terrace and are Grade I Listed.
