Worth Park was rebuilt in 1884-1887 by the owner, Sir Francis Abraham Montefiore, for whom the image was taken. The Bedford Lemere daybook lists the architect as Z King, and the interior designers as George Jackson and Sons. In the 1920s the house became a boarding school, Milton Mount College. It was demolished in 1963.
