Description

This drawing was created for a competition to design new offices for Harrow Council, probably on the site of the former Kynaston Lodge on Boxtree Road. The competition was won by Verner O Rees. Second and third places were awarded respectively to designs by E B Lyons and L Israel, and Horace Farquarson & Donald H McMorran. The offices were not built and the site was instead developed for as a cul-de-sac of housing known as Kynaston Wood. CC47/01325 and CC47/01326 also show the same design.
