Hookfield House as it appears in this photograph was demolished in 1858 and replaced with a large Victorian mansion. That in turn was demolished in the 1950s and the area was completely redeveloped. The roads Hookfield and Lindsey Close now stand on the site.
DD76/00103 shows a slightly different view of the same house.
