Description

The station has two buildings, with the main ticket office situated in the south, on the London-bound side. It is on the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway and opened in 1895. On the west side of the front elevation is a two storey section of two bays with a two-bay gabled cross wing on the right, and a small single storey bay to the far west. To the east is a tall single storey section of three bays with a two-bay gabled cross wing. In the far east is a 20th century extension.
