Reconstruction of a fifth century Anglo-Saxon woman's Type 1 costume, based on the placement of finds excavated from Grave 975 at Mucking Anglo-Saxon Cemeteries. She wears a peplos with shoulder brooches and a striped cloak or wrap fastened by a pin.
