Description

The spit boy would continuously rotate a spit with meat on it, to make sure that it was evenly cooked through. It was one of the worst jobs to have in a medieval or Tudor kitchen. The illustration was made for the educational department to use on medival locations.

The artist has used additional pastle on the fireplace.
