C17. 2 storeys, timber-framed with C18 weatherboarding. 2 gables with parapet between and to corners. 1st floor has 2-light leaded casement to left, and 3-light casement to right. Ground floor has old 3-light leaded window to left, central flush-panelled door with bottle glass lights and C18 surround and hood and to right a small canted bay with casements and flat roof. Old tiles to main house roof. Original wall of chalk blocks dividing the house. 2 rooms to rear added later [see Surrey Archaeological Journal, 1966].

Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Malden Road, garden wall to north of Nos 1 and 5 Malden Road, Rectory, garden walls and laundry in grounds of Rectory form a group with Nos 45 to 57 (odd) The Broadway, and with Nos 1 to 25 (odd) Park Lane.
