EGLINGHAM SOUTH CHARLTON NU 12 SE 3/180 Brockley Hall Farmhouse II

House, late C18 with early C19 rear wing. Coursed stone front with tooled quoins and dressings, returns and rear large rubble; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central vertical-panelled door in C20 half- glazed porch; renewed 12-pane sash windows. Coped gables; stepped-and-corniced end stacks with paired shafts. Left return shows arched panel with 3 tiers of pigeon holes re-set at wall foot, and rear wing with renewed 16-pane sash in former doorway flanked by 12-pane sashes.

Extension to east of rear wing is not of special interest.
