BARTON ON THE HEATH SP2532 10/4 Lodge and attached railings, 02/09/52 gatepier and gate approx. 80m ENE of Barton House (Formerly listed as Barton House)

GV II

Lodge. Mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with chamfered plinth, quoins and coped gables with ball finials. C20-tile roof with moulded stone lateral stack.

T-shaped plan. 2-storey, one-window range with canted bay to ground floor and 2-light mullioned window to first floor. Plank door with elliptical-headed surround in lean-to porch to left. One-storey range projecting to right has chamfered light in gabled end. Attached by C19 railings to left probably a C17 gatepier with moulded cornice and ball finial. Iron gate attached to left.
