II
Two cottages, now one dwelling. C17 and early C19. Timber framed with thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 2 bays, with added cottage to left, C19, 2 storeys, 2 bays. Right cottage has framing and infilling largely replaced in C18 by brickwork, but originally 3 panels high, surviving in right gable, which has corner braces and entrance. Paned timber windows with 2 flush dormers. Brick stack between 2 bays and at left gable end at junction with added structure. This is of sarsen, refronted in brick, with segmental headed openings and timber casement windows. Central door removed.
To rear, a lean-to under extension of roof.
