11/83 Barn about 15 m north-east of Thatchers -
GV II
Barn incorporating loading bay and cartshed, now disused. Late C18-early C19. Blue lias random rubble, weatherboarded right return, double Roman tiled roof hipped to right over loading bay. Plan: threshing barn of 3:1:3 bays on sloping site, 2-bay loading bay right under same roof which sweeps down on original foldyard side with 7-bay shelter shed.
Double doors to barn. Collar and principal roof with tie beam. Forms a good group with Thatchers (qv), the original farmhouse.
