20/137 Farmbuildings and gingang attached to east of Heddon Banks Farmhouse

GV II

Gingang, barn, byres and granary, now used mainly as workshops and for farm storage. Early C19. Coursed stone with ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roof. Long 2-storey range with gingang attached to rear.

To left a segmental arch with boarded double doors. Byres and barn have 2 boarded doors and 5 windows on ground floor, 2 boarded pitching doors to granary over, all in chamfered alternating-block surrounds. Gabled roof.

Circular gingang to rear with oblong piers and conical roof. Fine roof timbers including curved purlins and octagonal king post.
