5407 Bradleian Building SU 1868 5/119 II GV 2.
187l-2 (designed). Built 1873. Architect G E Street. Red brick. Steeply pitched tile roof with Gothic moulded gable coping. Tall brick chimneys with brick tumbling to lower batter, cornicing and arched panels. 1 storey. Wooden eaves cornice with elaborated carved modillions. Moulded string at dado height. Rusticated brick quoins.
3 sashes with glazing bars, rubbed brick voussoirs and moulded brick jambs. North elevation has an aedicule in gable end, and 3 windows with 3 recessed panels below, in one of which is an angel in a quatrefoil frame..
C House, B House, The Museum Block, The Arcade, The Bradleian Building, The North Block, the Porter's Lodge, gates and railiings, the Chapel, and A House form a group.
