Lodge 1877 by R. Norman Shaw. Half timbered, close stud, with rubblestone walls below. Hipped, plain tiled roof. Single storey. Placed at 45 angle to road. Tall central ribbed stack with oversailing top. Attic under penticed roof casement former on entrance front. Gable to right with 5-light casement window. Decorative, diamond patterned, framing over mouled beam and stone dado wall to left. Ribbed door with strap-work hinges behind arched entrance in central porch recess.
Right hand return front (facing Holly Lane): two casement windows. Further foor to right in extension to rear.
