3/82 No.71 (Clovelly) - GV II

House, c.1840. Gault brick with rusticated quoins and a moulded band at 1st floor with a dentil course; another band beneath the upper windows is linked to a shallow frame of brick around each window. Slated roof with parapet gables and internal chimneys of gault brick. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Small-pane sashes with segmental heads. Entrance doorway with splayed reveals and oblong fanlight, 4-panelled door. A flight of stone steps up to the entrance is flanked by cast iron balustrading with balusters in the form of pierced panels.
