House, now school. C17. Datestone 1647. Altered C19 and C20. Coursed ironstone rubble, slate roof, flanking brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3 bays.
Central doorway with plain stone frame and 4-panel part-glazed door. C20 three-light casement window with wood lintel to right. 3-light stone-mullioned window with moulded stone frame to left. Similar window in left bay on the first floor. Central window has moulded stone frame and 3-light wood casement. 3-light casement window with wood lintel in right bay. Coped gable ends with kneelers.
C20 stone extensions at rear. Wing projecting from left side at rear. C17 coursed ironstone rubble, slate roof. 2 storeys. Has C20 windows and coped gable ends. Interior: remodelled C20; but retains moulded spine beams.
