HEYTESBURY PARK LANE ST 94 SW (west side) 4/82 Slaters Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17, C18 and C19 additions.

Rubble stone and dressed limestone, tiled hipped roof, ashlar and brick stacks. 'L'-plan, central baffle-entry. Two storey, 4- windowed; casements. Central door (missing at time of survey) with 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement either side, additions to right have 3-light mullioned casement and missing door. First floor has four 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements. Left return has 3-light mullioned casement to ground floor and 2-light to first floor. Right return has C20 casements.

Rear has C20 casements and C19 wing in English garden wall bond brick.

Interior has chamfered beams with runout stops, early C18 stone 'Tudor'-arched fireplace in east bay, central stack has large stone 'Tudor'-arched fireplace with very depressed arch and moulded jambs and plainer open fireplace with timber lintel on stone jambs.

Undergoing renovation and alteration at time of survey (June 1985).
