Terraced town houses. c.1810-11, some mid C.19 alterations and No. 4, by J.T. Parkinson as part of his Montagu-Bryanston Square development for the Portman Estate. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floors; concealed slate roofs. 5 storeys on basements, except No. 4 which is of 4 storeys. 3-window wide fronts. Semicircular arched doorways to left with panelled doors in pilaster jambs and plain fanlights. The 2 ground floor sashes are set in segmental bow; with the exception of No. 4, mid C.19 stucco canted bays rise above segmental bows through 1st and 2nd floors, finished off with cornices and blocking courses, some with channelling and enrichment; otherwise recessed sashes under flat gauged arches; No. 4 with rusticated sashes but blind windows to 3rd floor. Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork; Nos. 2, 3 and 5 have 4th floor stucco sill bands.
Crowning stucco cornices and blocking courses. Continuous cast iron lattice patterned balcony across 1st floors. Cast iron area railings with acorn finials.
