House and shop, C17 and early C19. Timber-framed and ashlar rendered with unequal pitched Welsh slate roof. Of 3 storeys and two-and-a-half storeys on rear. Second floor has 2 flush double-hung sash windows each with 2 vertical glazing bars. First floor has 3 similar windows. Ground floor has one similar double-hung sash and mid C19 shop front with hood on consoles and 3 door openings with plain pilasters. Two of the doors have glazed lights with semicircular heads. 2-storey C19 extension on rear of red brick with C20 clay pantile roof. INTERIOR: some timber-framing is exposed inside and front eaves line was raised in early C19 from original 2-storey-and-attic format. No.2 has light under stair and fireplace, on ground floor, with lamb's tongue stopped chamfered mantel beam, truncated and probably reused.
