House, late C18 with probably earlier origins. Gault brick front now partly painted with red brick dressings and gabled clay plain tile roof. 2 storeys with attics and 2 gabled dormers. 2 irregularly placed stacks. Front elevation has red brick projecting band between storeys and moulded red brick cornice. 4-window range of flush double-hung sashes with gauged, slightly arched, brick heads and small panes. Slightly recessed apron panels below windows and in parapet above. Off-centre doorcase with eared architrave, panelled reveals, Gothick frieze panel and pediment. Outer edges of entablature have console shaped lateral projections. Contemporary 6-panel door glazed in upper 2 panels. INTERIOR: narrow early C19 corner cupboard with 4 shelves and arched head. Windows retain internal folding shutters and some old doors and simple panelling. Rear arch to entrance passage has timber keystone and moulded impost and bases, repaired. Projecting painted brick extension to rear with hipped clay plain tile roof.
