Barn. C17. Timber-framed, weather-boarded on brick dwarf wall, some C17 brickwork remaining, roof peg-tiled. Rectangular, 5 bays with central midstrey, original projecting waggon porch on N side, simple door opening on S side. INTERIOR: principal trusses with straight tie-beams and curved arched braces. Roof of joggled side purlin type butted to principal rafters. Common rafters also butted and pegged to purlins. Collars and curved raking queen struts to principals. Wall framing of primary braced studding with joggled side girts. The barn is all of one build, without any extensive repair work. The barn, the stable (qv) and Lincolns (qv) form a group.
