II GV 2.

Most ambitious of the mid C19 stucco terraces built in this district. Not seriously altered. Ten 3 houses, the centre having 4 storeys, the others 3 storeys.

Pediments to end houses. Rusticated ground floor with round-headed doors and windows, 1st floor windows to central and end houses have pediments. The ground floor of No 44 has been altered. Sash windows with glazing bars, the windows on the top floor of No 49 are false. Six-panel doors with raised and fielded panels, fanlights.

Heavy dentil cornice with a band below. Parapet, slate roof not visible from street.

Iron area. railings, some missing.

Nos 44 to 53 (consec) form a group.
