1770 substantial house altered and enlarged in the C19. 4 storeys ashlar. Originally of 3 storeys 5 windows with 3 window pedimented centre break. Plat band over ground floor, moulded sill course to 2nd floor and bracket cornice. The windows on centre break are recessed for one order. Roman Ionic pilaster porch with pulvinated frieze and pediment. The top storey and flanking full height canted bays C19 additions with cornices and panelled parapets. Eaves cornice to slate roof. Broken pediment on west wall facing Landsdown Road marks end of original low wing, with blocked archway flanked by oculi. Single storey extension to ground floor on east side with bowed end. Also on the east side, set back and raised on terrace is a 2 storey ashlar wing of circa 1840-50 (formerly seperate?). 7 window front with pedimented 3 window centre break and slightly recessed end bays. Architrave surrounds to sashes.

Good cast iron trellis verandah to ground floor with balcony over.
