Shop, in row, formerly house. C18 origins. Local stone cut and squared, colourwashed, plain gabled roof with stone slate base courses and plain clay tiles above; brick end chimney stacks. 3 storeys, 2 bays. Early C20 quality shopfront in late Art Nouveau style, with two-light shop window on glazed tile stall-risers, angled door to left, all under deep fascia; above 2-plain sash windows and to second floor 12-pane sashes. Of same build as No 4 (qv), but in same ownership as No.8 (qv).
